Blumarine S/S 2009 : Natasha Poly by Craig McDean

I really like it.. not sure on Natasha's darker hair colour :innocent:

the collection was wonderful in my opinion. but i don't understand why the keep on calling a model like natasha for representing their clothes.
blumarine is all flowers and romantic coloros, roses etc. i imagine another kind of model for the brand. more soft model, in the body and in the face. and a smile somewhere would be nice.
not always this angry expression that means anything at all

^ Exactly what I thought!

Even though Natasha's bone structure makes her seem inherently edgy/harsh, she could at least let her hair down and pose with a softer expression like she did in Nina Ricci last season. She looks like "yeah I'm forced to wear these girly clothes but see the statue limbs on the floor? this is what happens if you make fun of me."
Blumarine shocked me two seasons in a row with ads of angry, pissed off model; especially when the runway settings were so pink and light and fluffy.

yes we agree perfectly. when you hear blumarine in italy, is all about feminine etc.
natasha: perfect model but out of place here.

anyway blame on the stylist: Joe McKenna

New shot looks fab!
FRANCY I agree with you though, I like this campaign for itself, but I also think of Blumarine as girly and feminine, so I don't get why they insist on making fierce campaigns. Also, I think Natasha could do feminine if that was the concept.

I like it, she looks great in the second pic. And everything looks better than the last season, setting, her hair and she looks less angry this time.

Really? I agree that the set and styling is way better but Natasha still looks as inclined to stab me in the face as ever.

This looks good. Are the frames part of the campaign or just the lay out from the article?

i think it's a part of a page where they give preview.. i'll have soon the magazine in my hands and i'll confirm

the concept was great but for some strange reason it endedup lookin cheap in a way

I like her but she look's angry here, hair down would have worked better imho., still better than last season.

I don't really care about anything as long as Natasha looks so wonderfully fierce and gorgeus! :woot:  Well, so that'd acutally mean I like the ads :D

I've never seen Poly actually look ill until now. This really sucks.

I dont like her expression and pose in some shots, but the clothes look good

she's so wrong for blumarine. another brand that uses her only because she's natasha poly, just like jil sander does, for which natasha is TOTALLY wrong!
