hi well first of all let me say i love this forum to death:D
and ive looked in a lot of the posts but i just cant find how to get that chissled (sp?) high cheek bones look..i have a chubby face and when i apply blush it just looks worse and icant get that right look but im a normal weight 5'4 115
(at least i think thats normal )lol

and ive been lookin for the past 40 minutes and i was on the site lastweek and someone posted this awsome foundation map of how to apply foundation on ur face with this picture that depicted the light and dark areas but i cant seem to find it:unsure:

sooo if anyone could help me out it would be soo awsome thnx:blush:

Wohho that's posted by me ! :P
Now a question i have is... what do I use to shade on those " dark areas " ? :flower:

Golden..you could buy a darker foundation and blend a tiny amount with your normal foundation and apply it to the "dark areas", that should do the trick..or apply a bit of brozing powder. :flower:

golden butterfly shade the darker areas with bronzer. much easier to blend. & layer it.
when yr a bit more confident with placement try wht hanne suggested with the foundation. :flower:

Thanks for the tips you guys, appreciate it :flower:

i_<3_chanel, I have the same complexion as u, is there any particular bronzer you recommend ?
I don't want to look all " glittery ", morelike " shimmery "

To make the face thinner you can use bronzer like i < chanel said,(without any shimmer or glitter) on the jaw and under the apple of the cheek.

Clinique bronze powder (the older one with the yellow box) doesn´t have any shimmer or glitter. The Elizabeth Arden one or the Guerlain one have a nice shimmer to them if you prefer.

Sofialuv, every time you post in this forum I always end up ordering items from Sephora. This is the third time I've gone to the Sephora site and ordered something after reading one of your posts

You're going to make me poor with a lot of make-up! :P

Thank you sofialuv, I think I'm going to give Elizabeth Arden a go.

So much work to look like you put no work into it. What does it have to be like this!? :flower:

how to apply blush

Okay, for the blush the higher you apply the blush the younger you're going to look. So the trick is just kind of getting, staying with the apple of the cheek is, it's the hard bone. Hers is right here. Starting, and in circular motions kind of work your way back and blend it. For the dewy look just put some highlighter on top of the cheek bone, like so, and blend it down. Streak it through the blush. For a nighttime look, if she wanted to make a more contour look she could do that by using bronzer. And putting the bronzer in the hollows of her cheeks. Do you like that, without feeling too silly? Hers would be right there and just kind of take it and work your way up. I would just do that for a nighttime look otherwise it will look too dramatic. Also, take a little right where your face would naturally get too much sun: your forehead, cheekbones, bridge of your nose, your chin.
