Book Challenge 2016

I hope to read 52 books this year! Last year I didn't meet my goal but hopefully this year I will! It's not a lot but it's important for me to read and stay intune with the literary world.

Well, I was really slow this year so I don't want to set me a big goal. I guess I'll say 35 books (I read around 25 this year and I don't know how many more I could read).

I read 39 books last year (my goal was 50), so this year I'm taking it down a notch and aiming for 40 books in 2016. I've already finished one, so I'm off to a good start.

01: Sanctuary Bay by Laura J Burns

02: The Bazaar Of Bad Dreams by Stephen King
03: Nantucket Sisters by Nancy Thayer
04: Petals On The Wind by Virginia Andrews

This year I want to read around 50 to 60 books. Not sure if I can do it (I'm sort of busy this year) but I'm excited. :woot:

01. Franklin and Eleanor by Hazel Rowley ***
02. Has Marriage for Love Failed? by Pascal Bruckner
03. Seneca by Paul Veyne

02: The Bazaar Of Bad Dreams by Stephen King
03: Nantucket Sisters by Nancy Thayer
04: Petals On The Wind by Virginia Andrews
05: If You Dare by A.R. Torre

i have been so focused on film for work that my reading - esp for pleasure - has really taken a dip. i'll aim for just 20 this year but hope to surpass it.

I hope I can make it to 50 this year after failing to do so the last two years.

01. The Prague Cemetery - Umberto Eco

I always aim for thirty.

1. Favourite Sherlock Holmes Stories, by Arthur Conan Doyle

Currently starting the famous beheading and ill omened wedding ceremonies series by George RR Martin!

35 was too ambitious for me in 2015. I'm aiming for a reasonable 25 books goal this year because I know I can only read when I don't have too much worries.

My goodread profile if you want to add me (I don't post reviews but I love checking what the other members are reading).
