Bottega Veneta Resort 2022 Milan

Did they use vogue patterns for this?
OMG as I was typing this you said exactly what I was thinking!!

Thankfully he is gone but when I look at this I can't stop thinking about how the construction of his clothes was so un-challenging. I've noticed the same style in others like Schiaparelli where it looks like they just learned how to sew 5 minutes ago and bought a pattern from the store and just fiddled with it a bit

This doesn't really say anything.

Looks like something you would buy from a cold, too cool for school boutique in the early 2000s.

I never see Bottega rtw on people. Only the hype accessories.

On another note, I work in the secondary market for designer and luxury goods, and I hardly see anything come through either which it could just be our client base, however I see NWT, brand new items, etc for almost all fashion houses, etc. It just kind of strikes me as odd.

It’s awful! It reminds me of Tod’s, Trussardi or Loewe before JW…expensive cloth used to make the dullest clothes.

That green is really the bane of my existence…it flatters no one. Please stop!

Is this still the old Designer or the new one?

Matthieu sucks. He kicked Daniel Lee out hoping this would happen. Karma is a b*tch.

but I like daniel lee's designs. why its everyone hating this all of a sudden?!?!?

This is a Daniel Lee collection, designed Before the Detroit collection.
Technically, the Detroit show was his last collection but Bottega Veneta release the precollections lookbook around the time they arrives in stores.

Matthieu’s debut will be Prefall 2022 ( for the press I think) but his first show will probably be in February.
