CielDelit, thank you for your post, I have found it very amusing.
You seem to have an all access pass to my brain or the gift of omniscience, since you can state with authority what you "know everything she said way better than [me]". That's a very impressive skill.
I don't have your talent but I have read all your posts, and I have found your arguments weak. My own post wasn't an attempt to teach you anything, but merely an opinion backed with hard facts.
Personally, I always find it hilarious when people try to use the 'taken out of context' argument when trying to defend horrible comments. First of all, I am aware of the context of all these quotes because I've read the books and letters they are from (so I know for a fact that I have not misrepresented her), and secondly, I for the life of me cannot imagine a context where any of these statements would be acceptable.
Lastly, you wonder why I am here? The answer is in the last sentence of my post (you must have read it, since you quoted part of it). You seem a big fan of Brigitte, so you should be happy that even people who are completely repulsed by her personal opinions can still appreciate her beauty and style, otherwise there wouldn't be many visitors and contributor to this thread.

I totally agree with you, couldn't have said it better. Also I forgot to point out that "tare" was not exactly well translated, it means "defect" not necessarily "genetical defect", there is a slight difference. I won't argue all over again about that, just saying.
I love Serge too, especially in the 1960s actually. Seriously he made amazing songs for BB, have you seen the Special Bardot for new year 1968 with the videoclips ? I love it
