Last of the La Lumiere Gifs

Thank you for enjoying the gifs, everyone! I will definitely see if I can make any others from Youtube clips like the ones Meghann very kindly found for me...

The main problem with Youtube clips, though, is that you need to download them from Youtube first and you need a program to do that, since Youtube won't let you download the clips automatically. I'll try and dig up a reliable program and then hopefully have more new stuff to post up for BB's fans.

And here are the last of the gifs I made... young BB is so cute and innocent, it's ridiculous. I love how well she mimicks dying of sexual frustration as well! Poor girl looks like she's really suffering!

Would it be possible to get some more caps of La Lumiere d'en Face from you? I'll actually put some big, clear caps of that movie up myself this Wednesday, since I made extensive caps based on the short clips I found online and in youtube. However, huge gaps of the movie are basically unknown to me, like that part where BB goes about in the striped shirt.

So if it isn't too much trouble, would caps of parts I can't cap myself be all right to ask for? Thanks ahead of time!


Oh, and thanks to everyone for the pictures! The last picture Miss Retro put up of BB from Viva Maria (???) are especially striking. She always had such a bold gaze-- smoldering yet cool at the same time. Hard not to be fascinated by it, no?

Funnyfan, I find the "easiest" way to get youtube videos is to dig them from your browser's cache after you've watched them, they should be there usually in flv or mp4 format. But I also emailed you about an even more easy way .

About Zagury, I don't know much about him either except what Ciel said, that he was some kind of a producer. He at least produced some of Brigittes music videos, like Harley Davidson & Contact... but at that point they had already broken up.

What a lovely set of pictures, Miss Retro! I seriously love that session with BB... the camera absolutely adores her, doesn't it? And the lighting is beautifully done... she truly looks lit from within. She could be a pre-Raphelite painting.

... This might be a bit of a strange digression but I was just thinking of how horribly annoying it is to try and describe young Brigitte's beauty in a textual format, without actually seeing her for yourself. When you try to describe beautiful people, it's so hard to describe exact details such as the form of a face, the curve of a nose, the soft line of a cheek... a lot of the time, it comes down to describing their coloration as poetically as possible.

So while it's relatively easy to describe, say, a blond poetically ("hair like molten gold," etc. etc.) or a person with colored eyes ("eyes as blue as the late autumn sky," etc. etc.), it's actually really hard to describe young BB properly. It's like...

"Uh, so her hair is brown. Kind of a chestnut brown under bright light... I guess. And her eyes are, er, also brown. But a pretty brown! Not a normal brown. Actually much more exciting than it seems! Also, she's got a lovely face. Her cheekbones aren't all that high but, er, her face shape is somehow really adorable. Not... Angelina Jolie distinctive but somehow cute and fresh and... er, still not out of the common. Um. She's really very stunning, despite a description that makes her seem pedestrian. No, really, trust me."

I've been trying to fill out a roleplaying profile based on young BB for a while and I still can't seem to capture her in words, sadly!

...Okay, that's my pretentious poetry post of the day. I'm stopping now, seriously.

I know exactly what you mean! Blonde and brunette, BB had a face like a doll, but it's hard to portray in words how beautiful a lot of extreme beauties are imo. Some women are drop dead gorgeous, but have very common hair, eye, and skin colors, are of average height, don't possess what's considered classically beautiful features, etc. For example, I think Olivia Wilde is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood right now, but besides having blue catlike eyes, she also has a large forehead and normal lips, which doesn't sound pretty on paper. Monica Bellucci has a great profile and full lips, but again, bushy brows, dark hair, regular brown eyes, etc. She has beautiful bone structure, but if you just read her stats, she could look like any Italian woman. Likewise, some people may sound pretty on paper but not be extraordinary in actuality.

I'm sure I've asked this before, but I've forgotten! Anyone know if BB had any kind of diet or did any exercise when she was young? Her figure was to die for. I think if she were famous now, her body would be considered one of the best. She had like no body fat, yet she did not look malnourished and had beautiful curves without any implantation, amazing!
