So nice to see her looking comfortable and confident on the red carpet and a genuine, radiant smile. She always looks so much younger without the dark and heavy eye make-up and some defined eyebrows.
... my only complaint is the godawful music that I'm sure is even boring for her, if it wasn't for the visuals and knowing her history it'd be a disaster. Mostly my issue is that it sounds so dated, I think she just needs that last kick when it comes to trends in music in order to hit her stride again and become truly relevant... I know she's Britney Spears and that relatable, pedestrian aspect of her charm (call it next door... next door club in Jersey Shore imo) is what made her successful, but also capturing the 'zeitgeist' at the time, which is what's been missing and she would still be able to nail looking the way she does now and the popularity and sympathy she's still able to garner. Basically she just needs to take a dose of that faux intellectualism like most pop stars have and take it from there, make her stuff more conceptual, expressive... because being a product for the sake of being a product doesn't cut it in tumblr times anymore.Has everyone had a chance to listen to her new single, Perfume? What do you all think? I think it's gorgeous. She sounds really good. It's a sound we hadn't heard form her since Everytime, and as far from Work b*tch as you could get. Not sure how it's going to do, especially given the underperforming of Work b*tch. Hoping for the best though.
