Céline Pre-Fall 2012

All this is terribly photographed, it really doesn't flatter the looks.

Photographs are indeed terrible but after my previous comment I am suprised by how delighgted I am. This is actually more than I expected. It's far from perfect but better than previous pre-collection. But please get rid of that massive amount of fur but I suppose they sell a lot of them, esp. On BRIC countries,

Totally in heaven...ugh...need to start saving up for all those damn bags...crap...

I want to say I'm bored but I can't. It's pretty fabulous!

It's all just brilliant

Usually I need some time to digest Phoebe's presentations, but this is my love at first sight. Perfectly balanced proportions, cuts and silhouettes, wonderful.

I agree with Liberty that the cut of the trousers is very dodge - the cut of most of it is pretty dodgey tbf and that just reminds me of spring, which I quite hated.
I'm sort of also questioning her use of musquash fur, though I adore the design of the final look, the other full musquash looks literally like she's wearing sh**.
I'm not usually borderline with anything, but I'm going to have to revise this one.

i like the long fur coat and the grey dress and that's it , the rest are EWW

It's pretty obvious that Celine is making their money off of accessories :innocent:

That white dress with the mink collar is just...ewww! Same "ew!" goes to every look that includes pants with elasticized waists... The end is WAY better than the beginning! I like almost everything on page 2...

I still don't understand either Phoebe is getting lazy or that's just a strategy of the brand.

Quintessential Phoebe for Celine. Nothing new or fresh, but this is absolutely divine. I'll take any of the bags in a heartbeat.

^ Oh i think there are fresh things to be found here, namely some of the materials she uses. It seems like she's exploring new combinations of fabrics as well as new volumes -- i mean, clearly the woman knows how to fit a pant so the volume is intentional. I like the pant is both skinny and baggy, somehow. Not everything in this is covetable, but it's way more interesting than most of the things i've seen trickle in over the past month. But for the record a lot of this is covetable: soon to be seen on magazine editors are the two tone bags, that tan coat with the oversize pockets (<3), the blue leather skirt, those weird furry sweaters. I'm sure this collection will end up making the rounds because Philo manages not just to push last season's ideas further but also to articulate a point of a view so thoroughly that in every piece, including the best and worst ones, you can see the ideas she was working with. I'd bet that 6-9 months from now magazines are saying that those crazy prints we've been seeing are out and volume/texture are in :-p

The standout pieces for me are the grey dress and the fur coats (don't judge me). I really can't wait to see how the stylists will use the pieces.

that pinstripe suit is ah-mazing

why women still shop at other labels is beyond me

I'm obsessed, I was critical of their Spring collection (didn't find it flattering nor wearable), but this has me swooning again
