Luna me too!! food network cake challenges are the best. I always am on the edge of my seat when they have to move the cake from one table to another..who ever thought cake making would be such an adrenaline rush to watch!

I love when they use fondant, i think it looks really nice on cakes. Colorful fun cakes are the best. I shall have the most beautiful cake for my wedding, in like 10 years that is. I mean, who cares about the guy? I'm just psyched up for the cake design. (& I thought the chef smiley would never come in handy....)

Wow, the ones posted here look amazing, they don't look like cakes at all! I bet they don't taste so good.

All of these remind me of the Barbie-cakes my friends' mothers did for their birthday parties---creamy, pink and pastel cakes which had a real Barbie doll standing on the centre of the cake.

^ they did a Barbie cake on some Martha Stewart show once. honestly I think those cakes are sort of creepy...eat Barbie?! Are we teaching the future of tomorrow to be cannibals..?

I think the cakes that look like paintings or antique artwork are so cool..who ever knew you could paint brushstrokes on a cake! I didn't...my cake "brushstrokes" are formed from the knife accidentally tearing apart the cake while spreading frosting over it
