I noticed two things: the collection isn't particularly exciting, and Mariacarla is back. The second is definitely more extraordinary.

She's really just doing whatever

Another boring and bland season. Is anyone actually buying this? I’m the first to want a Calvin Collection success story but this lady has zero ability to do this job

You couldn't even if you wanted to. There are 0 points of sale for the first collection yet somehow. Kind of makes me feel like they're already divesting from this comeback. No announcement of the show until 4 hours beforehand, no set budget, no video or livestream, no campaign, no announced stockists...

She is living in a bubble and it shows.
She is making clothes for an idea, a fantasy, it’s just a moodboard.

Clothes that have no sense of reality, aren’t meant to be worn by anybody. She is trying to prove something but we don’t know what.

The styling, make up and all are supposed to make it more real but it looks totally odd.

What’s the point of this?
It’s like Peter Do or Peter Do for Helmut Lang. None of that make sense.

I don’t know why I suddenly developed expectations from look 3 and the one on Loli and thought for a second that the sophisticated NY corporate woman might finally come back to the runways after a decades-long hiatus…. only to see it go from meh to bad to pure horror. That’s just Marni towards the end. That look with the see-through white pants is gross and more.. Skims HQs, than VP at Goldman or whatever. Sad to see this brand still struggling so hard for direction when its founder is still alive and hopefully can talk and is willing to educate..

Imagine showing this on the runway and then having your brand sustained only by polyester made in Bangladesh briefs and jockstraps advertised by hunky / conventionally attractive influencers, actors and singers LOL
Even Prada store selection looks less disconnected and disjointed from the runway proposition...

How awful was everything...god those pom poms looks...silly!

the dress made by Calvin Klein tags is really screaming "just graduated from fashion school" CRINGE!

This woman seems very lost...at least she is consistent and coherent showing another bland collection...who edit the collection? it looks so random...and the fit was off too.
