I was rooting for Dominican Republic, supposedly a psychologist but that answer she came up with??! Honestly didn't think Canada would win before the questions, but my goodness the inane answers those other girls came up with... not that Canada's was great but she deserved to win. This year's standard seems to have fallen. Jennifer Hawkins is the best Miss Universe so far imho.

I think they all look really crappy. Who on earth chooses their dresses?!!!!! Seriously, this is like a tacky parade.

I have a canadian friend, I don't know his name so I and everyone else calls him the Candadian guy. Supposedly he was smuggled over to the UK from Canada on a maple syrup truck - in the barrel of syrup - and lives with a pack of rodents. True story, at least that's what he says.

um...what has this got to do with Miss Universe??

anyway...the dresses were hideous - I see similar designs in bad prom dress ads...

They seem more vapid every year. One day I hope they can have someone with serious substance again...and not so generic looking.
