PENULTIMATE ELIMINATION

Sisi is amazing. She photographs well and she can walk a mean runway! I was very surprised when she stood in front of us. I felt she had just basically given up - and I think she should have went all the way with a BANG, no matter the case!

What a lot of people don't realize is in this industry it could happen right away for the person or it could take years. Take supermodel Gisele Bundchen, she's been in the business from the age of 14! I did shows with her when I first started out, and no one had a clue who she was! It was not until recently that she got that one person to say “I WANT THAT GIRL” – and that was it, she was a supermodel! Granted, she paid her dues, just like a lot of other girls, like Alex Wek, Stacey Mckenzie! It's all about timing, and Sisi will have her time, her turn, ‘cause she has the game on lock!!

FINAL ELIMININATION

It's amazing to see how the girls transformed in such a short time. Especially the two finalists. I'm so proud, they had an opportunity of a lifetime. I along with a lot of girls and guys in the industry wish they had this opportunity when they first started out. It's very rare to come across someone in this business that would guide you along the way, so when you have the opportunity go for it. This is what these girls did by being in this competition. It's the end now and had to choose one winner. I feel sad but at the same time happy that I was apart of helping these hopefuls get one step closer to their dreams of becoming a model.

I hope all the girls don't give up on modeling. They can use this experience as a stepping-stone to keep going. If they feel at anytime they can't get through it, they should know that there are people out there like me that they can reach out to for guidance. Fashion is not as easy as everyone thinks, but it's worth it.
You get to travel the world, experience different cultures, and meet people.

To the winner, don't take this win and think that's the end of it. You’re famous now but you have to work hard to maintain a career all the way in this business. There's always another girl working 50 times harder to take it away from you to be Canada's Next Top Model. That's the truth.

I actually kinda like her :)

Alanna was better than Andrea at everythign except for the important things: her pictures and her body.

*uncontrollable laughter* omg haha. That is... awesome.

So, I missed the finale and last week's episode:doh: I think I'll head over to YouTube to catch up on the parts my sister didn't fill me in.

Andrea won though eh... ugh. "The Beast". That's all I'll say for now.

they both SUCKED at the runway... ah, it was so painful!! it looked like a high school fashion show

at least in ANTM the girls always seem to sparkle in the fashion show at the end (best year, Khalen and Naima)... this final runway was awful. andrea looked like she has something stuck up her a$$ and andrea just looked aquward in those unflattering dresses.
speaking of the clothes that dress andrea wore to judging was the worst pick she could have made. the colour and shape made her look bigger than she is. she should have worn the dress that was on backwards and rocked it in front of the judges.

it is true, i agree it didn't look like a real fashion show, I couldn't stop lookin at teh runway. I was like thats carpet, they carpet on runways? Do they?

OMG so sad Sisi didn't win!!!
I saw the three of them at MuchMusic yesterday and they all seemed really nice and willing to pose for pics and autographs. They look much the same in person. Sisi is so clearly the best though, and had way more fans than the other too and was way nicer to her fans (she kept turning around and waving).

 Maybe Andrea's smile scored her some bonus points.:D

The judges kept harping on how "unconventional" and "quirky" Sisi was but honestly I think she definitely is capable of looking "conventionally pretty" and just downright approachable.

Here's a site featuring pictures from her previous experiences in the modelling world;

I was surprised how commercial she can be. And didn't look half bad on the runway either (wish there were more than just two shots of runway though). And apparently she is 5'9".

And "exotic" I hate that word.

I think they are all just euphemisms for "Asian." Tricia seemed to be really irrationally scared of Sisi.

Reading other message boards people are more or less crying foul and calling some of the judges racist and other such (much harsher) words. It's quite hilarious in a way but in another it's just kind of ... depressing.

I think the problem here is that the winners of these NTM shows are always too safe, with regards to their "look". From ANTM, to BNTM/AuNTM/etc. the winner is never stretched too far into the commercial realm or too far into the high-fashion realm. As I was saying, the problem comes in a lack of variety; after all is said and done we end up with the same winner time and time again. I think many were hoping CNTM would break the trend, but it didn't happen. Again, the "safe bet" won.

People gravitate to people who are like them, so sometimes people like Sisi get shut out because of who is at the top.

Tricia liked Andrea because Andrea reminded her of herself. She gravitates toward that kind of model, clearly. She didn't want to take the 'different' route, just like you said, even though I think Sisi is clearly the better model.

Guh, well I can't believe that Sisi did not win. Even though she was kind of strange in the beginning, the girl can model!! She would have kicked major *** in the final runway show, she has a killer walk. I hope Sisi goes far, she definitely has what it takes and she has that whole Asian Gemma Ward thing down.

I'm kind of hoping to see more of Ylenia too, she can do so much if she just learns to work her face and body the right way!

And .. OMG at Brandi. I'm sure the judges are regretting kicking you out now ...

^ I loved Ylenia too. I thought she was incredibly sexy. Maybe she should get into acting, I think her face is so expressive.

THANK YOU for this!!!!!! they are awesome....she is so above CNTM

I cant believe they kicked sisi out. she was obviously the best choice at the end.
The reason why they debated so much to pick a winner at the end is because both of them are average/mediocre.
God, the runway show was so bad. Even the ANTM girls look better in the finale runway shows!
very disappointing
