Carla Bruni snapped wearing 'wedding band' - and nothing else
A Spanish magazine has published an exclusive picture of French president Nicolas Sarkozy's fiancée Carla Bruni wearing only a pair of black leather boots - and what appears to be a wedding ring.

The image, published online in the February edition of DT, shows the model-turned-singer-turned French President's fiancée lying on floor cushions with her arms protectively crossed over her chest.
The presence of a simple gold band on her wedding finger will further fuel rumours the Italian beauty has wed Sarkozy after a whirlwind romance.
The magazine's spokeswoman could not confirm when the risque photographs of Bruni were taken, but said the shoot took place before President Sarkozy officially confirmed their relationship on January 8.
Maria Sanchez, from the magazine's publisher Focus, said: "It could have been as early as last August."

Paris: Italian designer Valentino said former top model Carla Bruni is "too busy" to attend his last fashion show, according to media reports.

Valentino told Italian daily La Stampa he wanted Carla, who is dating French President Nicolas Sarkozy, to join the ranks of other supermodels at his haute couture display in Paris, but she declined. "I tried to get her, but no luck, she's too busy at this time," Valentino told La Stamps .

Media reports have claimed that Sarkozy and Carla might already have married in secret, while others claim a wedding is imminent. Both have remained coy about their plans, with Sarkozy telling reporters earlier this month that they might only find out about the nuptials after they had happened.

Valentino said he thinks Carla has the right stuff to become France's first lady. "She's a beautiful woman, right for the Elysee" presidential palace, Valentino told La Stampa . "She has all the qualities of a first lady."

Valentino, whose signature flaming red couture gowns have graced royalty, Hollywood stars and the international jet set for 45 years, announced his retirement in September.

Alessandra Facchinetti, the former designer of Gucci women's ready-to-wear, has been appointed to replace him. Models expected to attend Valentino's last show include Eva Herzigova, Claudia Schiffer, Nadja Auermann, Karen Mulder and Karolina Kurkova.

I was reading an article about her today and I vaguely knew Carla Bruni was a model, so I searched for her on tFS and I'm so very happy I did. I'm enthralled! I just bought her album Quelqu’un M’a Dit on iTunes, and she's incredible. What a beauty, and I love that she referenced Dylan and Leonard Cohen in her interview on the first few pages of the thread. I don't know if I'm going to buy her other albums yet...although I have a feeling she will be an obsession of mine.

She is currently working on her third -english- album with Dave Stewart (ex-Eurythmics).She wants to try to conquer the American market.
Shes sold just over a million copies of "Quelqu'un m'a dit".Not bad for a French LP.

Sarkozy and Bruni 'wed in Paris'

French President Nicolas Sarkozy has married his girlfriend, former model Carla Bruni, in Paris, according to the mayor who performed the ceremony. Francois Lebel told French Europe-1 radio that the bride wore white and looked "ravishing, as usual".
Earlier, French radio station RTL said the couple wed at the Elysee Palace, the president's official residence.
Mr Sarkozy's romance with Ms Bruni has been the subject of intense speculation in the French press for several months.
'Historic moment'
Mr Sarkozy, 53, and Ms Bruni, 40, were married in the presence of close family and friends, Mr Lebel said.
He added that the ceremony was "a moment of family intimacy for the young newlyweds, of great simplicity and apparently a lot of affection between the spouses".
Mr Lebel called it a "historic moment" and said it was the first time a French president had married while in office.
Ms Bruni is a singer and former model who has a son from a former relationship.
