for a girl who took part in a concert against the Test ADN, and is singing for Les Restos du Coeur (i doubt non-french people will understand) this is a real shame to date him...
dating someone who made honnour to M. Kadafi (sorry for spelling) on the Day of Celebration of the Droits de l'Homme, shake hands the day after Poutine get elected (and we ALL know the way he was elected)....a guy who fired Paris Match's boss because he was going too far into his private life and organize all this media buzz.... this guy is a real joke and i'm ashamed of France (well not really France, but the way our country is ruled now)... I'm sorry....

from what i know he is the king of media manipulation and she's been accused of man-stealing/sleeping her way to the top numerous times

so the surprise shouldnt be so big

which is a shame because she is a great model/singer and a very intelligent and articulate person

also funfact: i saw her sister at the PS convention a few months ago - im sure shes not so pleased with the news either!

I am completely appalled too. I NEVER saw that coming and it has tainted forever my view of Carla.
All her sweet talk about being a free spirit and free thinker, and she mates with the most populist, bottom-feeding, self-serving and fascist politician France has seen in years!?
She just exposed herself as a fraud and has lost all artistic credibility to my eyes.

Not particularly in this last pic, but in others from Disney that I just saw, Carla´s face looks particularly plump.

the worst is that it's ab. NOT paps shots...as the photos are very good... the photogs were not that far away, Carla and his new bf knew the photogs were there... and they even ask if they could print them...
but it's not official shots, too...
you see this guy is soooo weird that we don't even know what to say...
but everyone knew about this like one or two weeks before this shots...
he was with her in Versailles a week before this in EuroDisney... and some (ironic) journalists even say that Nicolas Sarkozy was surprised that nobody show his relationships with Carla before, i.e that no photogs were there in Versailles to shoot them...

I thought the same thing about Carla, even if she has all a reputation for being a "free love-no attachments" kind of gal, I never thought she could accept being with this kind of muppet.

The reason? His supermodel girlfriend Carla Bruni was with him.
The couple will spend a few days in Luxor before heading to the resort of Sharm el-Sheikh for a private romantic break before the New Year.

Newly-divorced French president Nicolas Sarkozy plans to marry his supermodel lover Carla Bruni.
After a romance which began only last month and became fully public just this week, it has now emerged that the president has proposed.
A source at his UMP party said he was "extremely keen to marry as quickly as possible".

The couple are planning a party to celebrate her 40th birthday on Saturday and an engagement announcement is likely to follow.
He has a son, Louis, 10, from his marriage to Cecilia, as well as two grown-up sons from his first marriage.
Miss Bruni has a six-year-old son, Aurelien with philosophy professor Raphaël Enthoven. Both young boys were there on the outing to Disneyland.
Miss Bruni's mother Marisa Tedeschi Bruni said she was delighted.
"It makes me very happy to see her so radiant.She has never been so in love."
But Mr Sarkozy's mother may not share such enthusiasm. Andree Sarkozy, 82, said recently that her son would be "spoilt for choice", but that she had "had enough of brides".
There are also political differences to consider.
In interviews at the time of the French elections in May, when Mr Sarkozy was still married to Cecilia, Miss Bruni stated that she had always been on the political Left.

I don´t like Sarkozy, I think that it´s a bad choice for Carla, but this sort of things happen all the time, and it´s not like she dumped her wife for her, they were already divorced or at least separated.

Besides that, Cecilia left him in 2005 to run with another guy, so....
