Did president Sarkozy make Christmas glitter for Carla Bruni?
Only one thing flashed brighter than the paparazzi cameras as Nicolas Sarkozy took his girlfriend for a walk yesterday.
It was ring on the fourth finger of her left hand. Last night, there was speculation that it is an engagement ring - and that the French president presented it to former supermodel Carla Bruni on Christmas Day.

Miss Bruni made no attempt to conceal the ring as she and Mr Sarkozy took a tour of the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.
A writer at France's Closer magazine said that Miss Bruni, 40, had "a great big rock on her finger that no one seems to have seen before".
"Our information is that it cost in the region of £10,000 and that the president presented it to Miss Bruni on Christmas Day," the journalist said.
Dressed in casual clothes, Mr Sarkozy, 52, and his girlfriend left their hotel in the morning to tour the archaeological sites of the historic city of Luxor.
It is just over a week since they made their first public appearance as a couple, on a visit to Disneyland Paris .

Miss Bruni, an Italian- born French citizen who has a sixyearold son, won critical acclaim for her first folk album in 2003.
An heiress to a multimillionpound tyre fortune, she has dated a range of famous men, including Mick Jagger and Donald Trump.
The French embassy in Cairo has declined to reveal any details of the Christmas trip, saying only that the visit is a private one.
An official visit starts next Monday, when Mr Sarkozy and Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak are to hold talks, the embassy said.

When exactly did she end the relationship with Raphael Enthoven? Does anyone know?

Last june.(thats when she ask him to move out of her place).But it was on the rocks long before that.
I guess her son,Aurélien, is spending time with his father in Paris right now.As Carla only brought along her mom and Nicolas is there with one of his son.

Nicolas Sarkozy and Carla Bruni arrived in Luxor yesterday for a private visit to Egypt, before the French President begins talks with Hosni Mubarak, his Egyptian counterpart, on Monday. They were greeted on landing by Sameer Farag, the head of the Luxor supreme local council of antiquities.

Am I the only one who thinks she's a total attention *****?
She sounds extremely uptight and arrogant in her interviews...
and her affairs with famous men don't exactly make her come off
as very classy either...

I recall that when she had an affair with Mick Jagger,his then wife Jerry Hall,was pregnant with their third child.At that time,Jerry had called up the press and gave interviews saying Carla was "b*tch and a home wrecker".
I believe carla was always attracted to famous,powerful and rich men.
She had both an affair with Raphael Enthoven-her son's father- and Raphael's own father .She started a relationship with Raphael while he was still married to his long term wife and while she was the girlfriend of Raphael's father..Doggy..
