well, if going from city to city and getting payed TOO much to just do that is tiresome.... then sorry, but i dont see why a girl would complain about being a successful model.... when you think of people who work a gazillion times harder..... i don't think a "hard working" model would easily faint.....

I'm not a model or anything, but I know what it feels like to run around endlessly day after day, without a break. It's important to stay hydrated and eat something, but she could've skipped a meal, or meals for that matter!!! and passed out...simple as that.

i do hate peta in general, but this is a little insensitive. carmen is just a model, why do they feel the need to attack her about the animals? the poor girl passes out and they take a jab at her when she didnt do anything to them

I dont recall her complaining, she simply passed out. She still did the show i believe.

I read an article featuring Julia Stegner which said during fashion week, she would have to go to fitting to fitting, show to show, and she would start at around 9am and sometime work until 5am into the morning going to designers for the fittings since they cant be done while the shows are going during the day. Julia napped while she waited for hair makeup etc ont he floor of the venue.

In her Supporting Cast thread, in an interview she gave, Carmen explains exactly what happened. I think she was working non-stop, just got off a plane or something and headed straight to Prada. She said there was no food provided for the models backstage, and the only thing there for her to eat was sugar. So, she gets a little weak and puts her head down to try to rest a little... but of course, it gets blown out of proportion. So no, according to Carmen, she didn't faint.
