Few months back picked up a pair of black poell dress cord on ebay. Gorgeous, fit me on the loose side of perfect. Today I put them on to wear for the first time. I crouched down to tighten a shoe lace and the seat shredded. Seam ripped, and fabric, jagged rips all up the side of the seat, AND on the side of the hip. Destroyed. And these pants did not fit me snug. I have a fair pit of Poell and I've been very happy with the quality. I've got the equivalent pair of pants in pure cotton, worn many times and fabric is still quite pristine. I wonder if this ridiculous fragility is an aberration in the pair I got, or was this a foul up in the design, ie, CPP picked out a very nice cord fabric but didn't test its quality.

I'm sorry to hear that! And I was going to bid on those pants too . It does sounds like and aberration. Did you buy them from bleu10?

Yea, I've bought from him and he's bought from me. Still, makes you wonder. But yea, I would say it's an aberration.

Maybe the pair werent as "unworn" or lightly worn as the seller stated?

Ive seen a lot of auctions on Y! japan where the item is in horrible condition.

Speaking of poell, Im going to be selling some items and maybe some from linea/ c diem..

Im getting together the money for last seasons red leather long coat, and some other previous season goods by him!

alright i realise that i am not meant to do this but i know that there are serious CCP followers on this site so i thought i would offer them here first....please pm me if you would like to buy my ccp boots as posted in the shopaholics thread a couple of days ago....

i know i know...why the HELL am i selling these fantastic boots??? Well, in all my excitement about the purchase i didnt really check whether they fit properly...and turns out they are too big for me...ive tried putting an extra inner-sole and thick socks, but they are just too big

i am so devastated and feel like an absolute moron for not checking properly...i had to wait 4 weeks for them to be made so the anticipation was too much.....now i am going to have to order another pair, bearing in mind these even sell

they are a size 7, worn twice, 5 days old, and possibly the best black boots money can buy....but i dont have to tell you that...

as i wear size 8 chucks.....i wear them one size too big as i hate snug fitting shoes....and yet i am probably a 6 in his boots

Oh, I see. He uses the UK sizing system, it's one size larger. I'm a 7 in shoes, 8 in sneakers too.

well they are 28.5cm internally heel to toe
31cm on the outside heel to toe
10.8cm at widest (also outside)

they are one size bigger than my size 8 chucks so i guess that means 9US in sneakers....

yeah they used to stock it there..but havent seen it lately....

very nice store, however recent stock has not been really amazing

dries, number nine, undercover, mahirishi (spelling?), kim jones (sucks), and cant remember the rest sorry....

everything is on the carpe meat hangers in there...visually a very nice space
