Hey everyone!

I was at A this weekend and looked through the photos of the CCP piece that Marco and JoJo ordered for the fall. Some beautiful outerwear (classic coats) and even a leather jacket.

The gloves I saw that they were ordering were 1 pair of full fingered black leather wrinkled gloves (really cool... but gonna be pricey as hell) and I believe 5 pairs of full fingered wrinkled leather gloves where the middle and ring fingers are fused together. I think they're going to be somewhere in the $300-500 range. I can't remember what JoJo said exactly.

I forgot to ask about the twist pants but they are ABSOLUTELY on the top of my list along with a pair of the gloves in black hehe.

I also bought my first CCP ever:

Sexy! people were right about CCP running very large. I wear a 10 and I had to size down. Thank god their last pair of these were precisely my size

It is really quite strange how CCP and Carpe pieces don't really exude that elegance over the computer in 2-d format... it's as if each piece has a soul that gets lost in digital.

I am sold on CCP. Absolutely sold.

$1450. Definitely the opposite of on sale, but I tried them on... went to MoMA, thought about it for a while and then came back, tried them on again before I bought them. At that price, gotta make sure it's not an impulse buy you nkow?

I am really quite excited about the twist jeans (hell, I'm going to call right now hehe) and the gloves for winter.

My "uniform" as of late has been lots of jeans and tees. I'd like to move towards something a bit more refined but still casual and CCP, Carpe, Ann all do that quite well!

great purchase chinor1z! im sure youll love the boots. this last bunch were really special in regards to the individual leather for each pair werent they. definately got to get the gloves this fall. are they the long ones that come up higher than the wrist or short? well, congradulations on the boots. ccp boots and clothes are really like armor arnt they

yeah the gloves are the short ones. Cut at the wrist. In general, A doesn't seem to carry TOO many bizarre pieces/unwearable pieces. Although they have a fur coat thing from Ann this season hahaha.

Avantster... something tells me that I'll be definitely getting more CCP.... I think my wallet just cried a tear.

Wow... so the boots is the one that you got from this season??? they are NICE... I got mine 2 years ago.. I am still wearing it.. last a long long long time... the only issue is that I drag my feet so it wears out very fast at the heel...

CCP has really nice stuff... I just got a CCP and Carpe Diem leather jacket too I am waiting it in the mail Yeap I am on a spending spree and totally broke men...

and I still want more...

They dont' have the gloves yet... the CCP shipment hasn't arrived yet. You can bet that the MOMENT I get that e-mail saying CCP is in, I'm calling and getting the twist pants and the gloves.

They don't have photos of the stuff online or anything, only the polaroids of what they ordered.

The boots I got are from "Safe" and yep... I bet the boots only get better with age and good care right? hehe. I got the Tacco insoles for them, and next will be some rubber soles then I'll never take them off !

their are also lamb leather gauntlet gloves that i mentioned earlier- go up all the way to the shoulder 0 around $650- i may have a picture of them somewhere... i'll try to get them up if i do.

The Tacco insoles were just what Marco recommended. Since CCP boots aren't padded on the inside, they make them slightly more comfortable. $10 on ebay. Easy.

I'll confirm in regards to the gloves... when they come in I'll talk to them about sizing and such. I may just make a weekend/day trip to nyc to get the gloves and pants. I figure a $30 round trip bus ticket would be worth it if I'm spending $1500-1800.

I do love the fact that CCP is relatively unknown except by those who are "in the know". It's so esoteric.

Love to see the gauntlet gloves if you can find them coldrice!

Those Gauntlet gloves are sick in the Non-No pictorial. Where can I acquire those gloves? Seriously, thats a "must have" for me. One of the most crucial things and what makes it very difficult to shop online when it comes to gloves is their unpredictable sizing and fitting with the fingers.

After seeing the full books of the collection at Lift, I can say the new season is a return to form for Mr. Poell. In terms of size, its a much bigger collection that s/s 06.. and has the return of classics like the twist pants, and the long coats in wool & leather..
As well as a reversible leopard skin/black leather bomber that was amazing..

On a related note, Im selling a reasonable amount of CCP & Linea stuff to finance a trip, give me a pm if anyones interested. I thought I would ask here before listing on ebay.
