Her and Diane Kruger were my two favorites of last night and they both wore this color. Cate looked like a true Hollywood screen goddess, I loved everything, the necklace was gorgeous her hair fantastic, love Cate she never dissapoints on the fashion front!

i really liked her look last night
i didn't mind the length because i think it showed off the shoes which complimented the rest of the outfit
her skin and face looked radiant and i think the gold of the dress really complimented her coloring
i think the unconventional necklace she wore was a clever little touch
a sort of understated (despite the metallic) glam look imo B)

After the show, guests like Cate Blanchett moved into a dove-gray tent for the People magazine/Entertainment Industry Foundation gala, where they lounged on lavender couches under enormous garlands of hydrangeas and gardenias. Glass bowls filled with floating gardenias inspired Sandra Oh to tuck a few blooms into her already perfect hair, while across the room CSI's Marg Helgenberger got her groove on to Nelly Furtado's Promiscuous Girl on the dance floor.
