i think freja looks wonderful in it too...
that purple is so vibrant...
but cate does pull it off very well...although i think i would have preferred her hair up...

Why has the beauteous Cate Blanchett started dressing like Cruella De Vil? The question was posed by the European fashion writer Lisa Armstrong when she returned from the latest fashion shows in Paris.
Armstrong, who saw Blanchett front row at an Armani collection, noted that the actor no longer uses the Los Angeles stylist Jessica Pastor, who had made her look like an ethereal elf princess, and "the results can be volatile".
Magnet, the Los Angeles website that represents Pastor, still boasts on its website of the Blanchett-Pastor connection, showing pictures of the actor in many red carpet moments, as well as on Vogue and Harpers Bazaar covers.
Pastor has styled Blanchett for the Academy Awards in the past, and this year is said to be styling Jennifer Hudson of Dreamgirls, Blanchett's rival for this year's award of best actress in a supporting role.
Blanchett had flown to the Armani show from Louisiana, where she is filming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which also stars Brad Pitt.
Stills from the movie show her in a 1950s-style swing coat, not a Cruella look, but appropriate for a movie about aging in reverse.
Based on an F. Scott Fitzgerald story, Benjamin Button is about a 50-year-old man who begins to age backwards. Regaining his youth, he falls in love with a 30-year-old woman.
Also on Blanchett's busy movie schedule is the Bob Dylan flick I'm Not There and a new Elizabeth I movie, The Golden Age, both in post production."
