Catwalk Trends S/S 10

Loving the dress posted by DonJoseQ, I am definately feeling the suede.

Cut-outs will be a huge trends as well.
Saw it at so many shows and remember Gucci: Nearly every piece had a cut-out

i love the sheer trend!! glad it seems to be staying:clap:
ill be wearing it next summer with my pastel trench like burberry whoop

is it just me, or are there so few new trends emerging? pretty much all of the above trends we've seen for at least 2 seasons already - black/nude, mesh, shoulders, belts, sack dresses, geometrics, florals..... it's all so "meh" this season...

When watching the shows on Style.com, NYC shows underwhelmed, London shows were fun, but ultimately not memorable save for a couple, Milan looked like it gave us and rested on it's laurels, save for Armani who gave a gorgeous show, and it wasn't til Paris that I really got excited, but then the excitement waned.

I think no one really wanted to push too hard for Spring 2010. Economy could be a factor, the other being that any trends established in Fall 09 that hadn't reached critical mass yet, I feel designers wanted to be able to sell any backlog stock of the former collections in the Spring, so they just rehashed a lot of ideas. Of the collections, I really loved the Isabel Marant one, if only cause, well that's how I dress anyway.

Sack Dresses

If that's what these shapeless mini-dresses are known as (my terminology not being great..)

Proenza Schouler
Calvin Klein

(Of course I meant Shift-Dresses)

Lagerfeld presented another one that stood out like a saw thumb at Chanel Paris-Shanghai.
I predict that everyone will be doing mini-dresses next season.

^I've spotted some very mini dresses in other pre-collections aswell.:ninja: not a fan

I like mini dresses, but not like the one posed in the picture. I prefer the romatic ones.

I like feathers, however, not in abundance, i prefer a pretty feather headband.

I spotted a scary shoe trend...:o
