Celebrity Encounters

The only celebrity I have met was somebody from a well known soap...
but my friend was sat in a cafe next to Peaches Geldof if that counts!

I met Pharrell Williams once at an N.E.R.D. concert. He was very very kind. He signed my N.E.R.D. hat and said 'thank you for coming to the show.' And, he is even sexier in person! I also met James Morrison at a John Mayer concert. He was incredibly sweet. I told him I was nervous and he was like "Don't be nervous, my dear. It's just me." And I told him I had to buy his C.D. again because I didn't know he was signing autographs. And he said "You're my true fan then, yes?" And his English accent is to dye for.

Ohhhh so jealous that you all have met/seen famous people!!
This August I'm going to spend the whole month studying at Redondo Beach (LA) so I was just wondering where do I have to go to casually see celebs walking by?

Vicky Beckham in the Chanel store in Paris :ninja:

Kanye West at basically every fashion show existing :ninja:

^ no but I did phone them and got paid for my tip in Chanel tennis rackets and balls. It was very pleasant :flower:

On a more serious note, I looked at her like she was a trash bin, couldn't see her reaction cause she was wearing sunglasses. indoors, yes.

Chad Michael Murray
Paris Hilton
Elisha Cuthbert
Jared Padalecki

Not so much met....but saw...

^ yes :shifty: he's very beautiful...

don't care THAT much for Diane..sure she can look quite lovely in Chanel Couture but that's about it

oh oops..going off topic here :ninja:

i used to work at a hilton and it was the hotel where all the bands would stay for the summer concert series (a lot of states have this, like a few good popular bands, and then every single summer, james taylor, lynard skynard, etc, i think most of you will know what i mean) anyway, i used to work at the front desk, so i checked in and made small talk with dave matthews, brandy, and the guys from godsmack. and then i was a bartender in the same hotel the next year, and i met blink 182 and godsmack again. let me tell you, godsmack, they drank for a few hours and didnt leave me a tip except for a guitar pick! yeah, i was pissed! but then blink 182 made up for it and gave me free tickets to their show. it was row 13 and it was so much better than row 1 cause i could actually see. all the bands still stay there, so i should go check them out this summer, esp since stone temple pilots are playing.

I have way too many band stories I could tell and I just found this thread. The Format, Augustana, Motion City Soundtrack, The Honorary Title, Backstage Warped Tour, Lovedrug, Voxtrot, All American Rejects, so many more I can't think of off the top of my head. When I am not a lazy kitten I'll have to share some good ones. :shifty::brows: And I have a Josh Hartnett story, living in Minneapolis I was bound to run into him some day.

I had a brief encounter with The Shins when I tried to sneak into their after concert get-together. A few friends and I literally climbed over the balcony, but we were removed by security :(

kirsten dunst. urban outfitters /fitting room/ on melrose in la. she was with two girlfriends, trying on a bunch of clothes. i didn't say anything to her but she smiled when we made eye contact....

well i got stuck in a hotel lift with justin timberlake + jessica biel for a few minutes {he was actually the cause of the problem...lol} - it took me a few minutes to even recognise who they were...i was on the phone to a friend + they both looked very, very 'normal'...

i shook faith hill's hand and exchanged smiles...{and was the happiest girl alive for a few years afterwards}...

i think that's about it...nothing else that stands out...there have been a few 'B list' celebs here and there i think...
