Maybe it's just because as a 90s-born I have built-in nostalgia for it, but these homes from the late 80s and 90s have so much appeal. The tastemakers of the time were unmatched at striking the balance between broadly appealing comfort and tasteful, personal design. Couldn't agree with you more. Even some of the homes from the 70's with their ultra clean lines are very welcoming.
