Thank you @justaguy !
I love interior design and it’s definitely inspiring…
I feel like personal style in interior design has disappeared much like it has in fashion.

‘It’s a bit of a pity that magazines are more celebrity focused in a way because I love to see the aesthetic language with designers and their interiors.

You're so very welcome, @MulletProof :redheart:

AD still features artists and designers, but it's just not the same magazine it used to be. Sadly, like most magazines, they have 100% lost their brand identity. I get a monthly stack of home decor magazines and honestly, with the exception of Veranda, I wouldn't know which magazine some of the edits came from. Even AD España and UK Elle Decor have changed so much.

Veranda is one I look forward to every month as well. I don't know if you read Dwell, but they've still kept their identity as well - though the interiors aren't typically all that inspiring, I love that they include little floorplans for the houses they feature. Currently, of the interiors/architecture magazines to which I subscribe or pick up regularly, I think I'd rank them like this, in order of how much I anticipate receiving the next issue:

World of Interiors
Milieu
Architectural Digest US
Veranda
House & Garden UK
Frederic
Dwell
Galerie
New England Home
House Beautiful
Luxe
Elle Decor US

LOVE your list! Milieu is another favorite. I usually give away all my issues at the end of the month, but Milieu I keep! World of Interiors and H&G UK have actually not changed much...thank goodness!! I love the comfy rooms in H&G UK. Oh, Galerie is a good one too! I actually have never read Dwell. I'll def need to check it out for the floorplans!

Thanks, justaguy & KoV for all the info!

Steinitz' stone fireplace :exhaling:.. the entire dining room is just gorgeous. Did the castle stay in the family after he passed?. He was so old-school lol 'I don't think art belongs to one country', well....

I had seen Hubert's Miró before but never in its own habitat. He acquired it that same year I think, and that's the June issue so I wonder if it was specifically for this.. was it a big deal then, or am I reaching here? :grinningwsweat:. There's something bittersweet about seeing the homes of the people who are no longer here and knowing that it's all been dismantled and in different hands and countries now..

I was thinking that yesterday!
