Celebrity phone hacker claims Johansson and Kunis

I hope the hacker releases more pictures before he's caught. :innocent:

dajrekshn, would you mind posting the list? Or at least where you saw it?

Sorry, i'm on my mobile so i can't find it ( tried searching it but can't find it all). Either way i read it over at TMZ yesterday moening, it was their first article about the whole thing with Scarlett. Sorry for not being a bit more helpful. :/

@Label Basher^Sorry I don't get your last statement ( I am not trying to be snarky, I always love your comments and you are a great contributor here), what do you mean they view Scarlett on a different level so one can't say that ScarJo is not any better than Lively? Sorry I don't get it. And Blake never was the only one, there was Leighton Meester, Rhianna (which were really a huge invasion of her provacy), Vanessa Hudgens and countless other starlets.

No it's cool. What I'm trying to say is that a lot of people think of Scarlet as a serious actress with awards etc both guys and girls like her you know all that BS.

Whereas to some Blake is not a very good actress just on some TV show. Some people see that as a different level (Like the whole A-list, B-list BS). You know how snarky people get when Blake is mentioned for the same roles as Keira, Carey etc. They laugh and b*tch.

The difference to me is that Leighton and Rihanna never got the same scorn thrown at them like Blake. Look at what happen with the thread here. It got so heated they had to shut it down.

@Label Basher thanks so much for the clarification, totally get what you are saying.

This must be mortifying for Scarlett.

With so many other high-profile hackings, I wonder why some female celebrities continue to take (and, more importantly, save!) these pictures on their phones?

Seriously, if she wants the FBI to help her track down the hackers, I hope she's paying them out of her own pocket. I don't think taxpayers should have to fund these so-called "investigations". I understand hacking is a serious problem, and I would understand if it were for something more important (e.g. legal documents), but for nude pictures, really? Celebrities should use more common sense if they're taking nude pictures and don't want anyone to see them. Either don't take them or as the guy in the article said, use polaroids.

i just wanna address this - if someone has the ability to access pictures/contacts on your phone, it's safe to assume they're also able to access all sorts of private information, including bank statements, etc (specially since there are many who do bank transactions through their phones). Hacking is illegal, period, and it's very complicated if the authorities start picking and choosing which crimes to investigate (because whether someone thinks this is a important violation or not, it's still a crime), so we seriously need to stop blaming the victims.

Scarlett Johansson has admitted that she took naked photographs of herself which were leaked online.

The 26-year-old Lost In Translation star, who has never appeared fully nude in her movies, has been left humiliated after the explicit pictures were published on a website yesterday.

The FBI has, meanwhile, been called in to investigate how the private photographs were hacked from her mobile phone - and it emerged today that it is closing in on the suspected hacker.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ authorities are 'honing in' on the criminal gang, with the identity of one of the ringleaders known to the FBI.

Johansson is the latest victim of the phone-hacking ring thought to be responsible for stealing naked photos and videos from at least 50 female Hollywood celebrities.

Johansson's lawyer today issued a statement making it clear that his client took the explicit pictures.

One of the photographs shows her posing seductively with her top off, while in another her bare behind is visible in a mirror.

The photographs show wallpaper in the background which matches the design in previously seen pictures from inside her bedroom in Los Angeles.

While parts of her body have been exposed for her movie roles, she has never before been seen completely naked.

'The highly personal and private photographs at issue capture our client self-posing in her own home in a state of undress and/or topless,' the statement, from lawyer Marty Singer, read.

He also threatened to sue any media outlet which publishes the pictures under copyright laws - the fact that Johansson holds the rights confirms that she took the pictures and that they are authentic.

Authorities also today confirmed it is looking into the case.

'The FBI is investigating a person or group responsible for a series of cyber intrusions of high-profile figures,' FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said.

'This would include many devices - could mean a computer, desktop, laptop, iPad, cell phone... intrusions into personal online accounts too.'

Other stars reportedly targeted include actresses Jessica Alba, Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, as well as singer Christina Aguilera.

^ Smart move by Scarlett. Admitting it and also re suing as she ''holds the rights''.

She obviously has a good team of reps behind her unlike Blake.

Why do so many celebrities take nude pictures? I just think it's a bit of a strange thing to do.

I want to see Justin´s pic with the panties on his head LOL

That's because they handled the situation 10x better than Blake.

A fan tweeted Rihanna with the topless pics asking "Hey boo, who is this?" And Rihanna replied, "That would be ME.... when I was skinny!" If you poke fun at yourself and show you're not bothered, people move on.

Leighton's only acknowledgment was (paraphrasing here:( "The tape's not real, unfortunately a lot of people think it is." It was a passing line in an interview published months later. If you don't make a big deal about it, people won't care.

The thing you shouldn't do is issue an outright denial and act like your client is too good to take nude pics. Because you will look like an idiot when 1. everyone can tell it's her, 2. more pics leak. Of course everyone laughed at her. She was proven wrong/lying in an embarrassing way, like "oh, you just got TOLD".

It's the playground rule. If someone's calling you a mean name, they're going to get worse if you react. If you ignore it and pretend it doesn't bother you, they'll eventually stop using it.

Scarjo and Mila will probably come out of this unscathed though. They don't have any upcoming releases so it doesn't look like a desperate attention grab. Justin Timberlake won't even be phased by this because he's a man. Double standards as always.

Anyway, Mila's photos could be kind of damaging to Justin, especially if he wants to be seen as "a serious actor"...if he was still a pop star, it wouldn't be a big deal, but now...it could have a negative effect.
No way. Men never feel the fallout for things like this, it is always the women who are shamed and made to feel dirty and 'sl*tty'... like the person above me said, it's the double standards of our society.

I'm really tired of these conversations coming back to "if women don't want these photos to leak they shouldn't take them in the first place". Um, no! If I want to send my lover a photo of me looking hot, I should have every right to do that while not having to worry about my privacy being jeopardised. It's my body, it's my intimate relationship, and it's my phone! The same logic applies for celebrities. It is those behind the leaks who are the immoral, not those who took photos in privacy. To say otherwise is victim blaming in my opinion.

Well look at Colin Farell, although of course his career was not as terribly impacted as a female's would, still his sex tape hurt him badly.

No, it's not 'victim blaming' it's called taking responsibilities for your actions. I love how everything these days is 'victim blaming'. Obviously the hacker is the criminal here and hopefully will get what he/she deserves. Nobody, at least nowhere I've seen, has claimed that the hacker is some sort of hero or worthy of admiration, respect. It's completely out of line to breach someone's privacy and expose it to the world like that. All that goes without saying.

With that said, celebs are stupid and dumb for taking those pictures on their phones. These days, nothing you put out there on the internet/phone is truly private, no matter what anyone wants to believe. If you want to take pictures of your vajayjay, fine, just know that someday it could come back and bite you in the ***. When it's a regular folk doing it, it's bad because it could cause you embarrassment within family/community/work. When you're a well known celebrity, it's a million times worse because it could be exposed to the world and cost you your career. That's not victim blaming, that's simply being realistic and taking the necessary precautions. I have a sympathy for their phones being broken into, I don't have sympathy for their nudes being released because they should've known better. They should've realized they're playing with fire.

If everything these days is 'victim blaming' then it is only because there is a truckload of it happening in today's society and it is ingrained in our culture. I agree that there should be personal accountability to a point - ie Scarlett acknowledging it is her in the photo, unlike a certain Blake Lively - but I completely disagree beyond that. Telling someone if they don't want nudes leaked they shouldn't take them in the first place is an equivalent to telling a girl if they don't want their drink spiked they shouldn't drink at all.

I don't think it did. I would say poor career choices around that time affected him more.

to me it sounds like a "lighthearted-we´re making fun of it" denial

Duh...
Heavy sigh.
Stop taking & storing nude pics of yourselves on your cellphones, celebs.
Problem solved.
No investigations needed.

Narcissism run rampant? Falling into one's own (naked) reflection and nearly drowning seems to be the order of the day.

Seriously. Duh.
