my aunt just came back, they are harder to get in asia... my mom reads about them all the time in the chinese newspaper, and even my dad knows about "the motorcycle bag"... my aunt said u can get pretty good fake ones if u go to Shanghai, but please NO FAKES!

thanks for all the help-maybe I'll get a fake if it is REALLY good and REALLY cheap but it kinda takes out all the happiness of owning one. One thing's for sure, I won't be getting one from a street vendor claiming its "authenticity"...

i'm new here, but just thought i'd tell you guys i had a major find at target here the other day... i bought four balenciaga replicas that look a lot like the real thing for 15 bucks each... they have four colors, so of course i bought them all, black brown blue and orange. they don't look cheap in fact a lot of people have asked me if it is real, of course they must not know balenciaga like some of us do haha i just thought it would be fun to spend the load of money on four bags instead of one although i do still own a real balenciaga in white.

^Erm, are you sure?

I saw the replicas at Target some time ago and honestly they were quite different from the real things. The leather, shape and hardware were really quite off.

^Agreed. I had just bought my lush bag and then saw the replicas in Target. The material to me was very thin and the studs were just not the same of course, but it just didn't seem like great quality.
