I saw a necklace of this in the SA's Fall collections catalog. It was $2600!!! Ouch! I guess it has real pearls on it. I always thought all they did was faux.

This pin and others this size were about $550.

I'm looking at these bracelets on ebay. Lord knows what is real. All I know is I don't see these styles on ioffer.com, which is a good sign.

I saw a necklace of this in the SA's Fall collections catalog. It was $2600!!! Ouch! I guess it has real pearls on it. I always thought all they did was faux.

Chanel only does faux, except in Fine Jewelry. Aren't those bows made of glass? That cant be easy to do...That doesn't explain the price though, if those were real pearls it would be much more than $2600, look how huge some of them are. Maybe there is some complicated back part that we dont see...$2600 is insane.

That is my favorite brooch Chanel has done, it's gorgeous, I may buy it for my Mom with my graduation money.

They're made of leather, it seems extremely complicated to make them.

I believe cultured pearls are like steroided fruit, it makes them bigger for less...I guess they dont consider them "Fine". Maybe the bows are lacquered, but they appear to be glass.

Some of the flowers are done in boucle, chiffon, suede, basically any material, I think for Paris-Tokyo they did a flower out of fur, not sure.

my friend who did the chanel couture show a season or 2 ago said that it was SO BLING BLING
she wore a ring which was like a black box made from a stone with diamonds all around it

apparently karl is really free with diamonds, he doesnt make a fuss with security over them
