We have optical branches that have exclusive deals with Chanel to do their frames as prescription, with EssilorLuxottica you're looking at even more money which is ridiculous. I'm talking an additional $600 odd dollars if not more. You can't even view pricing online you have to go in store even though they're all made in the same factory. They have even allocated and trained "handlers" for the Chanel frames.I don't understand why they keep doing separate photoshoots for eyewear campaigns when they could just shoot this during the RTW campaign shooting.
Waste of money unless a celebrity is involved.
But yeah, great to see a bunch of acetate with production cost of max 20 bucks being sold for 1k.
