The HQs are stunning; I am always amazed at how little of Karl's work can be seen on the runway...

At SS he shot back about a suggestion of futurism of 2010 ("I hate it, I dont believe in clothes for a future that never happens. Fashion is always now"). In FW interview, he advocated the view of future in 60s ("In the 60s, everything was short. It was supposed to be modern, for the future").

Could anybody give opinions ?

A very beautiful collection. Too bad Chanel didn't made a RTW version of those boots.
What i love about any Chanel's collections thread is the comments. Whether it's from a 2017, 2010 or 2004-2006 collections, it's always the same comments:

-Karl should retire
-This looks like any Chanel collection (Same old Same old)
-Hedi Slimane should take over
-It's gimmicky
-It's not "Couture" enough

The funniest thing is that today, people used this collection to justify that Chanel was great in 2010 when in 2010, people were already complaining about this and thougth that fall 2006 was better. FW2006 was heavily criticized for the Jeans...
