i really like it...not what I think of for a resort collection but definately chanel. I love the shoes...not the balenciaga-like boots though, which i think were better with the balenciaga version.
i have always liked chanel, and this doesn't disapoint. i especially like the first two looks on post # 7. i like the idea too, taking inspiration from dries?
i think it's good to experiment w/ the format of fashion shows, i dislike clothes going down in a straight line one after another on the catwalk, i feel as if there should be more of a 'context'. it is also cool since they are 'cruising' down the seine. i think it could be tedious to be on the bus, but i wouldn't mind bumping up against such cool confections. i think the clothes should be presented in a way it overwhelms the senses, and this is a nice attempt at this
I'm 50/50 on this... One half is really good and the other half is bad, I think. But I must say, that the shoes quoted by brian in a post on this page are absolutely wonderful...
I'm glad they are "boring". It acutally makes the collection wearable. Coco was a big advacate of simplicity. I like when a woman wears the clothes, not the clothes wear the woman.
Cruise collection should be comming up in another chunk of months. I went through and picked out pieces I may consider buying if they are nice in person. I like the coats on these first three photos. I like the shorts on the fourth, better yet if they match a coat some how. Hard to tell the tweed from far away.
