Ahh, to revisit the time when discussions on a single campaign thread would go on for 18 pages...
Anyway, found some lovely HQs in AnOther tonight and it reminded me of just how much I miss Karl's Chanel.
I always liked this campaign. I love the way Karl used natural light in the indoor shots. It was very moody and melancholic in a beautiful way. I don't think it was the best for advertising, but as a picture it was lovely.
Aw seeing everyone so excited during the lead up to its reveal and then seeing everyone dissect the campaign (the good and the bad parts) with excitement and passion makes me yearn for the creativity that is now lacking our excitement has been sucked out of us
also I find it funny that most everyone was sorta disappointed because it looks a bit bland and boring because if we had a campaign that looks like this now we’d be jumping up and down in excitement! Our standards have, unfortunately, gone way down
