It had to be Chanel...

I found this at a website that sells designer stuff. Everything they sell is authentic, so I'm pretty sure this is as well.

It's rubber! :o

I'd rather be carrying a Chanel paper bag...
I've seen some bags before, that were made out of the shopping (gift-) bags that you get when you buy something at a boutique... but made sturdy by being covered in clear pvc.

Actually, designerexposure has fake stuff sometimes as well, I've seen fake LVs and Diors but they usually state in a small print that it's not authentic. hth!

:o

wow, that's kind of shocking.
I didn't notice anything like that on the page for that particular Chanel bag, though, but I will check again!

The plastic Chanel bag at the top of the thread was actually produced in. . . spring 2000? I'm not sure but I remember thinking at the time that it looked so fake!

Maybe this is a secret plot to outwit the bootleggers by producing something so ugly no one will both to make a fake version?

When my friend designed for Bottega (about 3 years ago, she designed a jelly bag . I didnt like that either. :innocent:

I actually like the Chanel one, I have it pink, its old now though

I think we have just had jelly overkill recently

I remember the Bottega Veneta one's - They were really cool, they had the woven as part of the jelly - They were some sort of collaboration with 'Luella' she had them in her Graffiti dress collection when Miss Moss opened the show

I think those bags are more for carrying your shopping in, not for a handbag.
