I'm yet to find the same excitement his early collections emitted but I still find this quite enjoyable, or just more enjoyable than recent shows.. this seems packed with some lovely pieces and it's just quieter, more grown-up without really sacrificing much.

Some nice coats, but not loving this. I notice the dress/skirt over pants trend is continuing in London.

Couldn't agree more! I never got the hype around him and thought most of the previous collection always had something silly and gimmicky about them but this looks fabulous! The only outfits I don't like here are the ones with the horse prints, which really only has to do with the fact that I don't like big prints like that.
The styling is really amazing, too. That hair, the nightgown-like dresses and the dark runway make the models look like some mysterious creatures of the night. I could look at this all day, it's so beautiful. So all in all this is a perfect collection and show for me

For some reason, (the hair maybe?) the models/styling made me think of Victorian porcelain dolls, especially with the long cream gown, which I love but hadn't seen when I wrote my earlier comment. I do like the simplicity of some of the dresses. The red one with short sleeves, or the black satiny one with the cardi, feels like you could have them in your closet for a long time.

What I love about this is that it's kind of cliche and some of the pieces do fit a bit weird but everything in a wonderful, magical kind of way.

except those garments made of littles pieces stitched together...

You are right MulletProof - seeing that wine coloured mohair coat up close makes me want it more.

Ah, I've been waiting for this. Thanks MulletProof for posting the entire collection. It's very girly as usual, but I like that it's dark and moody without being blatantly goth/punk. To me, the Charles Anastase girl is like the preppy French sister-in-law of the Vivienne Westwood girl.

My only complaint is for the shoes... they seem to get higher and higher by the season. I wish he'd come up with something less attention-seeking (and less dangerous for walking) when it comes to footwear.

he does simple girly dresses well, and it's the only thing i like that he does

It's nice to see a more mature collection from him without losing the label's identity. The mix of fabrics is well done.
