No I think it is just tabloid garbage. I can't read French so I didn't even pay attention to what that said before posting it. But it seems like the issue is contradicted here, about halfway down the page:

le 28 juin, Charlotte Gainsbourg et Yvan Attal ont décidé d'assigner en justice l'hebdomadaire people Closerqui dans son deuxième numéro avait annoncé la rupture du couple.

Le couple a chargé Maître Gilles Dreyfus de demander pour chacun à l'hebdomadaire la somme de 40.000 euros à titre de dommages et intérêts, leur fils Ben âgé de 8 ans étant susceptible d'être perturbé par cette annonce.

Charlotte Gainsbourg et Yvan Attal démentent formellement l'annonce publiée dans Closer.

Closer, un nouvel hebdomadaire féminin people lancé début juin par le groupe Emap France, avait titré en couverture de son deuxième numéro, illustrée par une photo du couple : "C'est fini!"

Not to worry.It's just a nasty rumour that was made up by the tabloïds.Charlotte & Yvan are still very much a couple : They spent the Christmas holidays sking and snow-boarding in Mégève in the french Alps,with their two children (Ben & Alice).(unfortuantly though Charlotte injured herself and as a result she had to cancel the shooting of a film .She'll be remplaced by Audrey Tautou).

Your welcome! I know they are premiering Science of Sleep at Sundance this week, so hopefully it will have a release date soon! I just read that Emma de Caunes has a pretty big role in it as well, so I am happy about that too.

No.the pic shows little Kate (the eldest of Jane Birkin's 3 daughters) feeding her baby sis Charlotte ! It was at "rue de verneuil" -Serger Gainsbourg's home-in Saint Germain des près in 1972..Lou wasn't born yet.

How can they replace Charlotte with Audrey escapes me, except in the case that the scripts needeed a generic "french actress". Audrey is cute but they are VERY different women...
