'effrontee By Claude Miller

Charlotte to me is one of those extremely lucky girls, doesn't matter what she wears she will be the most stylish in the room, her body wears the clothes with such grace and attitude.
When I rewatched her first film debut "L'Effrontee" where she was only about 13, she was wearing mainly 2 very simple outfit in it: a white shirt with a denim short skirt, and a stripey "marin" long sleeve polo with high waisted 80's jeans.
well, she wore them so well and so stylishly I swear she always has been like this. She was already so unique and beautiful in her own "je m'en foutist" way. Like her mother and like her father.

There was also an interview on the dvd of her when the film came out, and she was absolutely petrified with shyness. When the interviewer asked how it felt to hear so many praises about her debut, she laughed. He asked why she laughed and she says: "i can't say anything cos I don't know what to say". Isn't that the cutest thing?

Thank you for this moving & tender flashback AnnieHall.
Charlotte really showed all the signs of a very unique and pretty unconventional actress on and off stage.
Although I was only 7 at the time, as soon as I was able to watch L'Effrontee and La Petite Voleuse on tv, Charlotte was amongst my favorite actresses ever since.
To me she has the same essential star qualities of Vanessa Paradis. Natural, raw and with real talent. My 2 favourite people in showbiz.
Funny enough they both act and sing and are designer muses.
