I recently found a very old Australian magazine which had an interview with Girls Aloud back after their first album was released. They all look unrecognisable now.
None of them looked 'WOW' so I'm very impressed with how they have all transformed.
I think Cheryl looks fabulous and very stylish.
I absolutely ADORE her hair. Always so luscious.

I wish I hadn't thrown it out because I would have scanned it.

Well, I think that is also because some of the girls were so young during the PSTR days. Like Nicola (Roberts) and it is known how much Nicola struggled through some period with all of the fake tan and being labeled like "the ugly one" before she found her style etc.
So it is really normal that all of them changed after 11 years!

But back to Cheryl - I think she was from the begining "the beautiful one" in GA. Just watch her audition for the Popstars. Her singing was nothing special, average (maybe even below that). And I think she went through and end up securing her place in the group just because of her looks.

At least during her first audition, it was soo obvious that Louis Walsh and the other guy were fond of her, cause she was stunning.

But yeah, she changed a lot during the GA days, also then she became more famous than the rest because of her "WAG" status, then the X FACTOR etc..etc..and all of the "nations sweetheart status".

I think she is really average singer, but watching some of her performances or stuff from GA tours - I am really impressed because she has a great stage presence and at least in my eyes she is really really good dancer. So I enjoy watching her, she is beautiful woman, funny...etc... Tho her taste of tattoos is really disgusting.
