It's just the angle and the face she's pulling! I mean c'mon. She's only human. Makes me love her all the more. I have a very similar nose, and before I discovered Cheryl had the same one I was really unhappy with it. After seeing (a few years ago) that Cheryl had virtually the same one and hadn't had surgery made me feel a LOT better, and I have actually grown to love my own. Good on her.

This is off topic of the thread but I hear this comment so much and just wanted to say my parents have been HAPPILY married for 27 years and there are times when they do not have their rings on. I've seen this a lot even in long lasting mariages. A ring is just SYMBOLIC of your marriage but its the love, trust, and communication that really represents it. Rings are lovely, but anyone can wear a ring; it should not be a "sign" of a marriage gone good or bad--its just a ring. A ring doesn't stop anyone from cheating, or keep them faithful either.

Anyway I Cheryl Cole (sometimes) which is why I joined this thread.

I agree, but the thing is... whenever Cheryl's photographed, the ring is the first thing people look for (for some reason, I guess because they want her to get divorced) so you can't help but think she does it for a reason. It's not like she could "forget" when she obviously spends about 4 hours getting ready every day.

^ yes you're right about that. the media, especially, loves to throw out those speculations, and celebs do things nowadays to keep themselves in the press. if theres truth to her coming to the US, I wonder how her marriage will hold?

On another note, I really hope it's not true about Cheryl going to the US. I love her relative anonymity over there and I really don't want to see her become like any other US celebrity, that all look pretty much the same to me. I like that she's a bit different e.g. her cute nose and accent etc. and I wouldn't want to see her pressured to become like any other fake, plastic celebrity, which I worry could happen if she went to the US. Then again Nadine hasn't changed much, so maybe my worries are unfounded.

And two Girls Aloud members in the US, would make it all the more difficult for Girls Aloud to get back together after their hiatus, as I just have a horrible feeling that they will not be back in the recording studio next year, and that it will take much longer for them to reform as Cheryl has got her solo career happening, Nadine is taking forever to release her own solo album and Sarah implied on Jonathan Ross that her main passion is no longer singing, but acting now and that she wants to focus on that. I know they have signed a contract for at least 3 more records, but I'm pretty sure it didn't specify when these records had to be made and they could just never eventuate or they could get out of the contract if they really wanted to.

^^I would think that they will fulfill their contract soon because I dont think they would want to do it when they are older and are settled into their individual projects. I kind of get where you are coming from about her coming to the US (im an american) but if shes a grounded girl then we have nothing to worry about. Katie Price is fake as a barbie but she hasnt gained popularity in the US. If cheryl makes it here I think she'll stay true to herself. It will be interesting to see what unfolds for her.
