I just don't get the constant criticism. I can't believe people think she gets a free pass in this thread.
She's absolutely gorgeous and her beauty resonates through her personality, attitude and the success she has had this year. And she isn't someone who looks ace only when dolled up; she looks arguably even more gorgeous stripped off of the makeup and extentions etc. Absolutely deserved the title (or the award) in my eyes.
I accept your opinion, but I think it's just because I seem to my very own different for 'sexy'.

I think Cheryl Cole, Megan Fox etc...they may have the physical attributes, but it's not enough for me. I think Cole can come across as rotten at times, while Megan Fox is just plain annoying. She made enough comments to talk to every single person on Earth and all of those comments were very annoying.
I think women who are 'sexy' are ones with great style, elegance and intellect, but can also have a sexy side. I don't think she fits much in the style category as she seems very overstyled and you can tell very much when she styles herself because her outfits can be absolutely horrid.

She got it right a lot during The X-Factor, but it also balanced with the downright ugly outfits, too. I don't think she's elegant or intellectual, either.
Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman (before the botox) and Scarlett Johansson (I would like to say before she went all Hollywood, but she's still very charming) tick these boxes, IMO. And then we have Diane Kruger, Natalie Portman, Diane Kruger, Natalia Vodianova, Sasha Pivovarova, Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet etc...
I also love quirky/idiosyncratic people like Chloe Sevigny, Bjork and Tilda Swinton, all of whom are very sexy.
I even find Sarah Jessica Parker sexy, which has proven to be quite an unpopular opinion.
Cheryl Cole comes across as 'fake' and 'too nice' at times. I think it's because she knows the public loves her and she can manipulate them a lot. She knows what they are looking for in order to be the public's sweetheart and she has worked her way through to get that title. That's great for her, but it makes her come across as some kind of female Simon Cowell.

This is just my opinion though, don't knock me for it.
I think I said too much there.
