I like the dress, though it looks a bit like the dress from Victoria Beckham's latest collection with the giant zips on the back, and its general shape looks like her whole line of dresses (I know its not a VB dress) however it's interesting since Cheryl classed VB's clothes to be too old for her and Girls Aloud, and now she's wearing a dress which bears so much resemblance to Victoria's line.
Either way, I like the outfit she looks very classy. Maybe I think way too deeply into these things
That´s what I thought too (about the zip). You´ve got interesting point but in this case I agree with Cheryl. I think Victoria dresses too old for her age. As I´m now thinking about it, what makes Victoria look old (to me) it´s not only the dresses itself but the problem is that Victoria wears them almost all the time. Her collection is nice and it´s probably for promotion but I´d like to see her try different styles. Or for a change to see her again in jeans and jacket with nice shirt. Tha´t would be refreshing for me.
Back to Cheryl and to get to my point - I think there´s difference between wearing this type of dress to meeting with Prime Minister (or some another formal occasion) and when you´re going shopping with kids (like Victoria). If you know what I mean
Good point, it's not like she's popping down the shops so I can understand this more formal attire. It suits her, it makes her look very stylish, but like you said she's only young there's no need for her to start dressing like VB.
Its interesting because VB's latest collection of dresses at NY fashion week was so much more youthful than her last one, I wonder if Cheryl's comments about them being too old triggered VB into tweaking her collection slightly. I think it may have imo.
She still looks gorgeous either way. And a great choice for meeting the PM.
Nope, no need to explain it further You pretty much summed up Geordie there Maeve, better than I could ever have summed it up, it's just a common accent ( like many of England's accents ) and you don't expect it to come out of someone like Cheryl.
Still I think it adds a lot character to her, like most people with accents.
