She's just blah currently. I would've thought with her debut album and and x-factor being on she would've stepped it up a notch but I guess not. I dont think it helps that she more than likely has a team of people she probably feels the need to stick to out of loyalty or comfort and thus the reason for no change.

I know what you mean but I think she's just got SO much exposure she can't possibly get anymore right now and it doesn't matter what she does or wears, the attention's not going to move (up or down) for a bit

A version of her L'Oreal ad is in this week's British Grazia, it's just a slightly different shot to her other red dress one, but it says on the ad:

"My hair's got its mojo back!" - Cheryl Cole.

Haha, I love it.

Pretty sure these haven't been posted already - sorry if they have been.

That Times article is embarrassing. The author is just fawning over Cheryl; no professionalism at all. I mean, I might do the same (as a fan who met her) but I'm not a professional journalist. Hopefully the Elle one is better.

That's Chrissy Iley for you; she won't be negative or even impartial. She fawns over celebrities. You should read her articles on Jennifer Lopez - they are pretty sickening....

My thoughts exactly.

She has to openly admit to the extensions in the L'oreal ad - it's for legal reasons. They can't imply her hair is like that because of the product, they have to state it. (I work in PR so I've come across these things...)

Another miss at the Pride of Britain Awards.Horrible hair, tacky dress and make up.Nice shoes though

I lovee what she wore when she left from the award show thing. She looks gorgeous! I'd do something different with the shoes but other than that, the outfit is pretty much perfect.

Also didn't L'Oreal get into trouble a few years ago when a women found out that Peneople Cruz was wearing fake eyelashes in a mascara commercial? That could also be a reason why she has to state she is wearing hair extensions.

PS - i really like the jacket and animal print top that she was wearing in the pic i posted earlier but the Pride of Britian outfit does nothing for me. Pretty much every women under 35 attending that particular event was wearing something similar , You would think that with her being a "style icon" and having the best stylists in town she would do something different and not follow what everyone else was doing? :innocent:

Boring outfit for a boring girl. She also butchered that Versace dress. I'm glad we didn't see more of it. The jewellery = overkill!

She's definitely no style icon. It's just the tabloid rags wanting you to believe that.

Not for you but she is for some people. Honestly I really don´t get why is for example Victoria Beckham style icon. She´s not style icon for me but there is lot of people who admire her and call her style icon. My style icon is Clemense Poesy but I do like how Cheryl dresses most of the time.
