I know what you mean but I think she's just got SO much exposure she can't possibly get anymore right now and it doesn't matter what she does or wears, the attention's not going to move (up or down) for a bitShe's just blah currently. I would've thought with her debut album and and x-factor being on she would've stepped it up a notch but I guess not. I dont think it helps that she more than likely has a team of people she probably feels the need to stick to out of loyalty or comfort and thus the reason for no change.
That Times article is embarrassing. The author is just fawning over Cheryl; no professionalism at all. I mean, I might do the same (as a fan who met her) but I'm not a professional journalist. Hopefully the Elle one is better.

My thoughts exactly.
She has to openly admit to the extensions in the L'oreal ad - it's for legal reasons. They can't imply her hair is like that because of the product, they have to state it. (I work in PR so I've come across these things...)
, You would think that with her being a "style icon" and having the best stylists in town she would do something different and not follow what everyone else was doing?
She's definitely no style icon. It's just the tabloid rags wanting you to believe that.

Not for you but she is for some people. Honestly I really don´t get why is for example Victoria Beckham style icon. She´s not style icon for me but there is lot of people who admire her and call her style icon. My style icon is Clemense Poesy but I do like how Cheryl dresses most of the time. She's definitely no style icon. It's just the tabloid rags wanting you to believe that.
