Cole projectile vomits on Tanzania trek

Cheryl Cole has revealed that she projectile vomited while on her Comic Relief Mount Kilimanjaro trek.

Speaking from Tanzania on Radio 1's Breakfast Show this morning, the Girls Aloud singer admitted that she had been suffering form bad altitude sickness.
Cole said that she had taken an injection in her bottom to make her feel better, and claimed that the large amount of money being raised by the charity walk was inspiring her to keep going.

Yesterday, the X Factor judge confessed that she felt "shook up" after witnessing a man collapsing on the mountain. "You feel really strange at this altitude anyway, emotional and strange - then to see that really got to us," she said.

Her bandmate Kimberley Walsh, who is also doing the trek, commented: "This is hard, the walking is tough, but the altitude makes you feel so different. It was great to climb so high today but to see that man looking so panicked was horrible. I'm so glad we are all here to support one another, it would be impossible otherwise."

Walsh 'watched Cole sleep on Kilimanjaro trek'

Kimberley Walsh has admitted that she spent last night watching Cheryl Cole sleep on their trek up Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief.
Speaking to Vernon Kay on Radio 1's Breakfast Show, the Girls Aloud singer confessed that she was worried about her bandmate's health after Cole began suffering from altitude sickness.
"I was sat up watching her sleep all night just to make sure she was alright, like a psycho," she said in a live call from Tanzania.
Recalling that she spent the evening "projectile vomiting", Cole said: "Last night I had a second of thinking this could be my resting place but I never once thought I'm not going to carry on climbing to the top... so keep spurring us on and we will keep going."

They are all now at the highest camp and in a few hours time will trek for 6 hrs to the top of the mountain. Heres what Cheryl had to say:​

“Today was really tough - everyday has been really tough. I was ill the night before and had to have an injection. We are all so, so close to making it now. Physically and especially mentally, this has been a very hard thing to do - but not once so far have I thought about giving up. When we are told the latest total that’s been raised, it gives us such a massive boost to carry on up the hill.”

This is amazing. Its really good of her. A lot of celebrities wouldn't give up their personal life, and even risk an injury for charity. Very thoughtful of her. Go Cheryl!
