Cheryl Cole

Oh I hope that's not the cover... I hate it.

Mandy Moore circa 2001 anyone?

I don't think it is, her website has her logo up, and it's much different to how Cheryl Cole's written there..

A slightly larger version, and also possibly the Fight For This Love cover - sorry if these aren't real and are only fan covers or something but thought they might be worth posting.

I haven't seen these pics of Cheryl before which would be the obvious thing to look for I guess if these weren't real but you could be right honeycombchild. Shouldn't be long until we find out for sure though.

I think they´re just fanmades. I can´t recognize the first pic but the second is from Girls Aloud 2007 calendar.

I think the Fight For This Love cover has to be fake, she's wearing a form of string vest thing? I think we'll see something much more polished...hopefully. But then I suppose the one promo shot we have seen is a bit... "street". I was hoping we'd see her in some great shots for the album.

And we know her logo is going to be this:

So let's hope they're not real! Haha

I'm a real typography nerd and love that logo so I hope you're right. As Maeve has posted the second pic is defo from the calendar so I think it's safe to say beyond all reasonable doubt they're fake. Sorry to mislead everyone :flower:

No worries! I'm just so GLAD they have to be fake. Thank god. I love the logo they've chosen for her, makes me wonder what sort of artwork we'll get on the album. While off yet I guess!

I think they're fake, but judging by the artwork from Girls Aloud's most recent album/singles, I wouldn't put it past the record company. I could have designed those better.

Is the song online yet? I know someone posted a link to a demo version but I mean Cheryl's

^Thanks :) Ehh it's ok, but I was hoping it'd be more like the GA stuff, I'm not really into r'n'b and that's how that sounds. It also kinda reminds me of what was around in like 2000/2001, that style. I hope the other songs are more poppy

^ They've said in the reviews that she didn't want it to sound like Girls Aloud and I think it's unlikely the album will sound like them also. Cheryl seems to like more r'n'b sounding music, so I think the album will be much in the same niche nothing like Girls Aloud's music really.

This could be the real cover

That's gorgeous. That's probably the Nick Knight shoot we heard about.

Oh I hope it is the cover!

That shoot looks a lot like the one Nick did of Lily Donaldson for V a few months back, with the painted backgrounds..

It´s probably pointless now but I´ve just identified the pic from the first fake cover. It´s from Robert Erdmann photoshoot for Glamour magazine

I wished I loved the single... I don't. Her voice is so digitized, it doesn't sound like her at all. I do not hear the lovely Cheryl. Her voice is verrrrry weak and unstable live, but this is just another person.

The song itself is kinda cliche...

And her first solo promo pic; is that even her? It's so airbrushed.

Yeah I understand why she would want a difference and I mean what's the point of doing a solo album if it isn't different from what you do with your group, but I personally would just prefer more poppy stuff from her. I know she's got a bit of an r'n'b side as well and it fits her personality but I think pop fits better, I don't know why lol. I think the song sounds a little stripped down to me and I might like it better if it had more oomf in the background, it sounds just like a lot of light electronic sounds rather than the really strong musical filler that the GA albums have. In terms of that they're very different
