I only catch the start of The X-Factor just to see what they are wearing. Don't care about the rest. They just showed Cheryl with her short hair talking and I would love to see her keep it this way.

I like this new shorter style, with the slightly shaggy styling - her hair doesn't look so heavy anymore.

On another note, I really hope it's not true about Cheryl going to the US. I love her relative anonymity over there and I really don't want to see her become like any other US celebrity, that all look pretty much the same to me. I like that she's a bit different e.g. her cute nose and accent etc. and I wouldn't want to see her pressured to become like any other fake, plastic celebrity, which I worry could happen if she went to the US. Then again Nadine hasn't changed much, so maybe my worries are unfounded.

If Cheryl comes to the US and lets it change her, then she must not have any strength in character. Plenty have come to the US and stayed exactly the same. Besides, Cheryl has had major work done to her teeth and always wears extensions. I say she's changed a lot without coming to the US.

I don't want her to come to the US, but for a different reason. She has nothing musically or vocally interesting to offer. I am a Cheryl fan. I think she's beautiful and has a great personality, but her songs and voice are nothing to write home about. She's no Amy Winehouse or Adele. She's not needed here. I can experience all the Cheryl I want to right from the Internet. No need for her to come over here and flop.

Unfortunately, I just don't think there's a market for pop/girl bands in the US, though. I think Cheryl would have more success as a solo artist with a strong R&B influence, than as a member of a pop group. Which is a pity, because I love GA as a group
