I picked up my shoes today!

I just took this pic at night with a flash so the color doesn't look nearly as nice as it really is, it's a darker grey irl.

Their gorgeous mundodabolsa! I love them in the grey color, which is definitely my favorite color this season. They'll look great with black tights.

^ I saw those in stores not so long ago, there's also one without the tie @ the ankle. The part that looks like a wooden platform is actually plastic, so their light as a feather. I tried 'em on just for kicks & I have to say their not that cute on imo, the front part is all wrong.

okay, I got the darker navy blue mary janes from Barneys but I love the grey so much...should I get the grey instead? What should I do? I can't keep both!!

i just got a pair of the patent oxford - the one with the heel, not the wedge. i forgot i had ordered 'em and have just decided i am in love. i'll probably wear them out tonight to road test!

drel isn't that little piece of elastic in between the tongues of the oxford a really great detail? I was so pleased when I finally got to see those irl and noticed that.

mundo, for sure! i didn't even notice that until i pulled them out of the box - my feet are a bit on the wide side and it makes 'em a bit more comfortable. i don't even think i'm going to put the laces in. have you had a chance to try out your grey mary janes yet? i really love that color!

I didn't even know there were laces, I thought the whole point was they are laceless, it looks so cute that way! If there are any left come sale season I'll definitely pick those up as well.

I haven't worn them yet. I want to get them zipsoled so I'm trying really hard to resist wearing them before doing it, but I haven't discovered yet where to go, and I'm lazy, so...

If I remember tomorrow morning before work I'll take a picture in natural light to try and better represent the color. It's dark by the time I get home from work, I'll try though.

very comfy, guessgirl.. i'd totally agree. wore them last night and probably could've done it longer than a few hours at dinner. mundodabolsa, mine came with laces in a plastic bag - but you're right, much cuter w/o them!

girls, how do you wear your Chloe FW06 platform shoes? I bought them and then returned because I couldn't find many items in my closet to wear with them so far. I'd wear a skirt with lots of volume or wide ankle pants, but what else? Any thoughts?

ok, i'm totally late on these platforms because no one has posted on this thread in months! i've been admiring them for a long time but now i kind of want a pair. but i don't really want to spend the $$ because i'm not sure i'll get that much use out of them. that being said, the only knock-offs i've found so far are a) not leather or b) the jessica simpson ones, and i think the wedge part on those is not the right color. anyone have any other suggestions?
