Chris Pine shoots a scene for his upcoming movie, Welcome to People, carrying a toiletry bag on Monday (February 7) in Los Angeles.
The 30-year-old actor will reportedly follow in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck to play Jack Ryan, the courageous intelligence analyst of the Tom Clancy novels.
The film was due to shoot in Budapest in March, but shooting got pushed back to the spring. “If they’re spending the money for this guy, they’re making the movie,” said one source. Steve Zaillian, who most recently wrote the adaptation for David Fincher’s new take on The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, would rewrite Jack Ryan for Paramount.

Chris is reportedly the next in line to play Jack Ryan, the protagonist of the hit novels by Tom Clancy, in a future film. Shooting has been postponed a bit and will now shoot in Budapest this spring.

The drama, expected to hit theaters sometime in 2012, centers around a man who has to deliver $150,000 of his deceased father’s fortune to a sister he’s never met.
Olivia, who has reportedly been spending time with Ryan Gosling, recently shared an embarrassing story about a phone call with President Obama
“He was calling to thank me for traveling to Iowa in October 2007 to volunteer for the campaign. I was very professional the whole time we spoke, then I hung up the phone - or so I thought - and started squealing for about 15 seconds,” she told the April issue of Cosmopolitan.
“I later found out from a friend who was with him that he listened to the shrieking,” she added, “and laughed the entire time.”
