Christian Dior F/W 2020.21 Paris

Do people buy these clothes? I know the bags and shoes do well, but I’m genuinely curious if people are buying much else.

The clitoridian woman, ok. It must have been her funeral or something because it was one damn sad collection.

Lol I thought I was watching a Zara or H&M show. What a joke of a collection.

It is the same style she has been doing over and over again. At least she has a consistent identifiable look, but it is very boring and very much saying nothing at the same time.

It's sad that we can't show our condolences and expressions of grief in this thread because R.I.P. this brand.

There is no way Dior’s business is booming especially these days. Sure leather goods may do well but rtw is a joke.

honestly they should just give the whole ship to Kim, at least there is vision there and variety.

also I’m almost offended actually I am offended at her commercialization of feminism. It’s gross, it’s tacky, and beyond anti feminist. It also doesn’t save her from the fact she’s a mediocre designer in way over her head.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of women buying her stuff.
I friend of mine, a mature woman and selfie queen on IG, extremely chic, quite risky in her fashion choices buys her stuff...Even the lame Woke-merch t-shirts.
I always tell her that I don’t understand how such a chic woman, who wears Old Celine and Balenciaga by Demna could buy MGC’s clothes.

The reality is that her silhouettes and her clothes are quite easy to understand. It’s Zara but with great quality and the prestige of Dior. It’s very accessible but expensive.
You even see in the boning of her jackets. It’s less accentuated than for Galliano or Simons. Her Bar Jacket is quite casual...

I’m a type of woman who only buys special pieces from designers. I don’t need to spend thousands of dollars or euros for a circle skirt. There are so many options from COS to French RTW brands for that... But for that clientele, that luxury clientele, there’s Dior by MGC.

And while I find Dior overpriced, it’s not super expensive compared to Chanel for example. A bar jacket is half of the price of a Chanel jacket...Yes, the tweed is embellished and all but still.

MGC is doing what Frida did with Gucci. The only difference is that nobody dares to criticize the 2nd brand of LVMH.

Anyone with insomnia, we found a cure which involves no prescription medication, just look at Maria Grazia's Dior , u will fall asleep in no time,

Seriously, what is this "Patriarchy = CO2" and "women's love is unpaid labour" nonsense? How about women being expected to do all the housework and raising children on their own? That's unpaid labour. But I guess if it's not vapid virtue signalling, Maria is just not interested.

This woman. I just can't believe it. And hasn't she done all of this in her beatnik collection already? UGH.

I find this incredibly offensive. It’s crass, manipulative marketing and not much else.. to think that women really are so simple as to fall for a few vapid slogans that have very little to do with the clothes she’s showing on the catwalk.

This is extremely bad ...The lack of cohesion is astounding, especially considering most of her collections are soulless & passionless ...The sad reality is this sh$t will sell so there's that lol...Also that cunning manipulative feminist messaging is so cringe from my perspective...meh...
