I don’t understand how Dior went from using big star names like Gisele and Kate Moss in their campaigns to using groups of generic no name models? They have ten times the budget for marketing than John Galliano did, so we know it’s possible.

And also, this is inspired by a series by Sarah Jones focused on photographing women during their therapy sessions? Seriously?

MGC has total creative control, as she should, and it’s coherent. She has teens on the runway and it’s only logical for them to be on the campaign.

As boring as her work is, it’s totally coherent.

Those Miss Dior coats are something, else… poor Philippe Guibourge, doing Miss Dior for nothing.

Hate the colour grading. In one shot the white is dental white, so bright it's kind of insane. Then in others there's either a grey or blue cast to it. The colours of the sets (which I find beautiful in all honesty) can obviously impact this but surely not this much, especially when it can easily be post produced to have it more consistent.

The models look as if they're waiting for blood transfusions to help with liver or kidney disease. The eye makeup is also giving hints of pink eye.

this last image is good however…

They look like Sims characters waiting for a command in most of these, but that seems to be the style of most ads these days unfortunately.
