I never watched a full Dior show by her, but took time today to see if it has swan song vibes.

All I can say is if she wasn't out of a job before this collection, she definitely is/should be now. Probably the worst collection from her and that is saying a lot considering she's had several to hit that mark of being the worst. She and this collection looked more sad (and rough) and in her feelings, too. I just wonder when they will announce her departure !

I skipped to the end to see the looks in the finale and what a sad display this was. The shoes made it all the worse.

Mind you there were some lovely jackets in here, but besides that nothing really emotes anything. I know it’s the kind of thing the clientele kind of enjoy seeing because it’s so one-dimensionally saccharine, but I honestly can’t see any of them really wearing any of this without massive changes.

Will be on the mood boards and visual diaries of many basic fashion designer hopefuls that have a penchant for the sadly sugary stylings of things like this. That I know, especially detail shots.

Yes, there were some looks that reminded me the Valentino SS2010 collection, one of their best, but here it was all so sad and depressing

Every single show of hers, Kim Jones and a few others feel like a swan song to you guys. There's always people saying that it's for sure her last one because they heard (read) a friend that works in the industry saying (online forums). Calm down, the truth is we'll only know when we know. I hope sooner rather than later.

But well, I don't mind this collection at all! I think there are beautiful gowns and couture-worth work in here.
This time this was not the problem for me, but insisting in a bad casting still is. Some of these could be translated into sexier clothes simply by changing the model wearing it (without the need of hiring traditionally sexy models). Would still be her style, her imprint, her everything, except it would be presented by better models.

I think a muse model will elevate the collection. When she stopped using Ruth Bell and later Steinberg, the presentation went south. Both girls with short hair juxtapose her soft, pretty dresses well.
