Christian Dior Joaillerie F/W 2015.16 : Emilia Clarke by Patrick Demarchelier

She looks good but the pictures are underwhelming. I'm just happy they didn't over photoshop her, she's too beautiful for that.

She's a beautiful woman and a charismatic actress, but I usually find her underwhelming, when it comes to fashion imagery. It's not for lack of natural good looks, but more that she's not really giving anything to the camera. There's no spark.

The word that comes to mind is "nothing", confusing with the other ads that are coming out. I see no cohesive direction.

She's beautiful, but these pics are so dull.
There's nothing about her that's sells luxury.
Dior always has the most random celebrities in their ads.

Maybe Dior's lack of direction was just not Raf's fault. This brand is a complete mess. Totally directionless.

Indeed!! I think this specific campaign was created to align with his mood for the brand though. Notice how markedly different it looks from what we've seen recently. And it's shot by Demarchelier. What bothers me it that we now have yet another spokesperson. It's becoming too much. Hopefully someone is slowly being let go....*cough* Jennifer *cough*.

Lets see what they'll do with Emilia in the future.

So boring, just looking at them makes me want to sleep.
